Did you expect the bedridden girl who could barely walk was living on her own? She's always lived with her parents who helped take care of her.

It was more difficult in her old house but the one she's in now is much bigger which gives her parents the space to be normal humans. Previously there were strict protocols to keep bacteria and contagions as far away from Mouse as possible.
