You can technically have multiple characters or names on one account but I’d strongly recommend trying to find something you can latch onto. I know bpd makes that hard but if you can force yourself it’ll be easier for people to recognize and keep track of you if you keep a consistent name and design.

If you’re “nerdy and weird” you could lean into nerd girl / gamer girl aesthetics and have a name that’s just something you like. Doesn’t have to be a real name either just something easy to say and type ideally!

I just don't think the outfit is the problem, he has the Mordred-looking one and that still doesn't work very well. Even if you overlook the artstyle, there's just some bigger issues, like several furry parts being mishandled. I kind of get what its going for, but the furred parts aren't stylized very much. Like the tail is very bland for what it is, not having any standout characteristics like even a trademark curl or the like.

I've never watched you, just seen your design here but here's my opinion. I think you're too attached to the furry bits in your design and wanting them to be out and seen might just be limiting your options. There's a lot you can do to make for interesting shapes in the clothes or silhouette that might make it more eye catching and not be specifically skirts and tshirts.
I'm far from being good with fashion, but I do have some interest in some early 2000s choices that some artists use a lot (vinneart was the one I took the topleft image). if you want to actually go for a more gyaru look, you can also lean more into a more traditional gyaru look with a school uniform, it's not bad for a casual outfit. Worst come to worst you can always just hit pinterest and look at ideas there, I do that all the time when looking for drawing references.

Mixing is easy with the right software and a bit of know how. An iPhone mic isn’t ideal but if you ever want someone to throw some quick low effort mastering on your vocals for free I’m minty yukime, feel free to hmu whenever!! It won’t be a masterpiece but it might help you with confidence, mastering made me stop hating my singing voice lol

Unique concept, but very basic. The colors mesh really well (how could they not, it's just different shades of blue) but I feel like something could be added to make you stand out a little bit.

I love the concept of this character being freezing, so maybe some icicles on the ear tips, or snot dripping from the nose for teh cutes. I'd try experimenting with more colors than just blue for the fur, however. If this is based off of a fox, look up examples of different breeds/types and go from there.

Here's my take. Alternatively, he could have an alt where he's "thawed out" and have that be blue because he's frozen in a way.

It's definitely reminding me of mint chocolate chip. Using the silhouette technique makes this design a lot easier to judge from a visual standpoint. The hair in a ponytail that curls down is a nice touch and very unique.

Alternatively, I feel like the stars are kind of being forced into the design somewhat. If I knew the aesthetic your character was trying to fit, I could help you out a bit more. It's giving me outer space ice cream idol vibes.

Also, a lot of vtubers have the jacket and split skirt combo with the two different socks. It works, but feels a bit cookie cutter.

I love the basicness of this design. Nothing clashes too well because this just feels like a normal girl you'd find on the street.

But that's the con as well. Nothing about this stands out to me and yells "vtuber". Doing the silhouette test shows that there aren't many things about this design that make her stand out.

Think about other vtuber silhouettes and how many of these girls you can name by just their outline. Would people be able to name you based off of yours?

Alternatively, the color choices are fine. The clothes feel like something I can find at Goodwill. I suggest giving her some sort of motif that you can surround your design on to give her a bit of uniqueness.

I’m basically mint chip ice cream themed and I’m moving from more of an idol look to this, so that’s good to hear since I didn’t wanna totally lose the idol aspect. That could work! But also consider the story you have for your character when designing an outfit. and see what you can do to make an outfit that showcases what she does/what she did/etc etc. Think K9 Vshojo.

Whatever motif and story you end up deciding for your design, make sure it's readable through your design.

Alternatively, you could do the "marketable plushie" technique. If you can make a plush out of your model, it's a good, easily translatable design.

If I could recommend something, maybe add sprinkles or swirls of any kind. Chocolate chips or mint leaves might be a better accent instead of the stars.
Also, instead of the gradient from white to mint on the hair, try highlights instead!

Here's what I thought of. Don't be afraid to go bright with the colors! Muted tones aren't as eye grabbing, especially for a design inspired by ice cream.

No minimum following is needed. Once you have the art made just make sure in your description of your product that you won't sell until 3 orders have been place (which is usually the minimum needed for custom charms) then basically don't get the charms made until the minimum for a batch is presold. If you don't already have charm art I can recommend artist that have done art for mine

I know this is a troll, but this unironically is a good design.
It works well for the motif she's trying to go for, and I love the ribbon accents. The hairstyle makes her stand out by doing the silhouette test, even with the hood. The outfit is basic but she makes it work well and makes it so it doesn't need any dinky accents.

The chocolate purse is cute, but why the fuck is it there? I would picture a purse of literally any other style, the chocolate bag doesn't make sense. But I love this design.

I do love the colors to this design, but I'll definitely agree with you by saying the outfit is extremely basic and non eye catching.

I'd experiment more with different hair styles. Locs or box braids don't flow like that. It would fit into the emo/grunge style if you included her roots showing.

I'd also look into fashion from that particular era, especially since digimon came out around that time.(?) I love the little robot face motif and I love how it's an accent in her hair. Try doing something related to robots for her outfit.

Very cute. I love the colors used and the leaf accents are cute. It's reminiscent of a cafe owner in a forest of some sort. The hair definitely looks like latte foam art, and the dress almost looks like an apron and it definitely helps seal the deal.

I feel like you're trying to be a bunny as well, that's the vibe I'm going for. Instead of just adding leaves to the rest of your outfit, I'd slip in some carrot motifs somewhere there, maybe making the socks look like carrots, or the hat.

I do love this design though. It definitely passes the silhouette test.

I do really love the outfit and the color palette for this design, but the blonde is throwing me off. It’s clashing too much with the other colors. I’d try an orange or a vanilla color instead. The blue gradient isn’t doing it for me, so try experimenting with an under color instead, or highlights. Pure black and white feel boring. Try experimenting with an off black instead of gray black. Also what’s the symbolism behind the moth necklace and markings on the shirt if they don’t appear anywhere else on the design?
Adding moth wings to the back of the “sweater” design seems pretty cool than random japanese. Try a zig zag in place of the japanese characters also.
For the design of the moth on the back of the sweater, think Cicada 3301. That on the back of a sweater would be sick. I enjoy the imagery of the moth and would love if it tied into more aspects of the outfit.

I’m enjoying the outfit, but the small cape and huge bow with a random purple gem is throwing me off, especially considering purple is nowhere else to be seen on this character.
Also, there’s so much going on with the hair… Twin buns with braids and yet there’s still so much hair. AND she has ribbons too that you can barely see, and a gradient that you can barely notice on her bangs.

This design is good, but needs to be like three octaves lower. I think she could do without the cat and cape and the super long, big, confusing hair.

My chat is getting less and less direct /asp/ies in it and my newer followers aren't even /asp/ adjacent. The day my non-/asp/ viewers outnumber my /asp/ viewers, every single person associated with this place is getting blocked and banned. I’m getting cute fairy vibes, but it feels very plain. Lots of different colors blending here, which isn’t inherently a bad thing but it is when the design is plain.
The hair definitely stands out and I love the fairy wing bows on the sides, but from the neck down it gives more tumblr kid than fairy. Google outfits that are cottagecore, or from shows like Pixie Hollow/Tinkerbell for inspiration. I love the green, so maybe try typing that in as the main focus.
When picking colors, you’d want one that stands out from the rest. Green can be the main, with yellow accessories and pink accents. Blue ribbons can be used to tie everything together from top to bottom as well. Consider also adding wings.

I've been checking vtubers that get in my twitch recommended list. Usually it's people with 20+ CCV. It's like a milestone that shows that you've been doing this for some time to know a thing or two about streaming.
The first thing I always do is I click on the chat and open emote list. If I don't see any 3rd party emotes (7tv/bttv/ffz, but mainly 7tv) I just don't stick around for long. I can understand if twitch is new for you but do you not watch any other streamers or vtubers at all? Chat is very important and emotes can add to the expression a lot. I never had a big audience in the first place, but I had to stop streaming for almost a full year last year because of some irl stuff. Now I'm worried that when I can stream again in a month or so, nobody at all is going to turn up, especially because I'm now in a different timezone to almost everyone I know and twitch cuts off notifications after a point.

Not everyone is going to have the extensions so to many people having random emotes that they can't see in a chat might come off in a negative manner, also channel emotes creates a sense of community which is the reason why even if people are subscribed to other channels they will still use the ones from the streamer they are watching at that moment unless said streamer doesn't have an equivalent emote.
