Hololive will always be there and will always be sought after as the golden ticket, but NijiEN basically has nothing to really offer once you've made it as a solid 3-view indie. From where I am from, "conservative" means "traditionalist", and treating your specialized workforce like shit is not really the traditionalist way.In this sense, Hololive is more conservative: top brass is all powerful, and it takes a lot of convincing to make them do anything "risky" but when they say you are a family they actually mean it and they will largely have your back in most situations (even if they sometimes fuck up).

It's really sad, Niji EN has some good talents and when it was just like 6 girls, their reputation among EOPs and casuals was inclining massively for a while there. Nijisanji is the quintessential conservative company where only the management gets the wealth and credit of the workers, and the workers have no recourse to defend themselves from abusive policies. The fact that management also actively pits workers to fight amongst themselves creates a very unhealthy work environment and keeps the workers fractured from unifying against said management. A few years ago most vtuber ads and brand deals and such you'd see around the city were mostly Niji and other famous OGs like Ai, while hololive was pretty rare to see in the wild. If someone talked about vtubers usually they mentioned Niji talents. Now it's overwhelmingly hololive that's everywhere.
