Considering that Gura said they didn't have perms for it during the Sendai stream, I think that points to all of them getting perms mid December.
And going by the dates, it seems like EN/ID perms were all given at the same time, including for the EN homos, around Dec 13. However, it's really, really weird to me that Cover would let one of the homos play it without POV on another person's channel all the way back in November if they didn't have perms for it.
Does anyone know if Homo EN and Holo EN perms are handled differently?
Either way, the near 6 week discrepancy between Niji EN and Holo EN receiving perms is really awful and so maybe there is a problem with the way Hololive asks for perms. Solving that might incentivise Gura to come back and stream more.

Just speculation on my part that Gura must be tired af/burnt out as she said, of the pressure, not games or fans or streaming in specific, but the totality of it.

Numbers numbers numbers. Rivals hungry to get her, jealous co-workers hoping for her to fail, fake friends wanting to take advantage, antis, doxers, stalkers, harassers sending her dilemma super chats demanding her time or else etc etc.

Nijisanji does use perms, but they also use this thing called 'common sense'. Namely, if a dev makes a post/tweet/whatever saying "yes, you can play my game, monetize my game, mod my game, do whatever the fuck you want with my game", and there's nothing there to imply it DOESN'T apply to corporate streamers, Niji will see this, and understand that this means they can play, monetize, mod or do whatever the fuck they want with the game. Meanwhile, Hololive will completely ignore this, and will send an email to the dev asking for perms, sitting there for weeks until the dev finally checks their spam box, notices the email, and either ignores it (because there's already perms RIGHT FUCKING THERE), or sends them their own special version of the perms, which do and say exactly the fucking same thing as the ones that've been there the entire time, but with all the 'you's changed to 'Hololive'. Niji definitely plays looser with their perms compared with Hololive, but they still make sure perms actually exist, and clearly it works for them, considering I haven't seen much if any drama from devs because they played a game without asking.

They're very ambitious, but I don't think they think of their own success in comparison to Gura. They have totally different interests, for example. TLDR: It'd be nice to have Gura back, or get a proper announcement in January that she's graduating so I can gtf away from hololive finally.

I think the golden era of hololive EN is over and that the company as a whole is becoming another Niji/VShojo/Insert x company low quality generation spamming circus.

I just wonder if holoEN has instructed Gura to stay away these initial months, specifically because they want Advent to get a foothold. Like I said, I feel there's zero internal competition for viewers now. There's only Fuwamoco trying to be everywhere and everything, then there's Bijou as well watching Gura's movies and playing her games, but she's not as hyperactive about self-promoting as Fuwamoco. Gura never once needed to go to the depths of reddit to farm attention, and she wasn't the first to start with the 'a', the twins started and are still forcing their 'bau bau', like Mori had to start Gah and Ina had to start Wah.

If Gura wants to just chill and be an NPC in the background for a while before graduating instead of the EN GOAT, then I guess that works out.
