That's why I was asking what that anon considers high effort. I think some anons here have warped perceptions about what to expect from streamers. A lot of aspies for instance have only started up in the last three months and a lot of the others discussed here have been going at it for under a year. How many of them are making significant money from it yet? How many are working a 9 - 5 on top of streaming and creating their own assets and planning out events.

A lot of it comes to experience and being able to react with the audience. Bringing energy and variety to every stream. It's a hard quality to nail down. As well as chat interaction, Yozora streams without glasses for better tracking, plays hard games, averages 200 viewers recently and still has better chat interaction and bantz than people here with 20 viewers.

I can speak from recent experience that sometimes OBS just decides to be a piece of shit mid-stream, especially in regards to karaoke. You can adjust the sync offset to get the perfect output before you start but whether the delay will stay consistent across the stream can be down to the luck of the draw.

Firstly, because we need a place where viewers's desires are prioritized. The corporate discussions are only for reacting to what mass-appealing garbage they toss to us and /asp/ and /aud/ are for the content creators.
This /panda/ general discussion would be for our niche desired to be aired out in the open. If all goes well, it will attract people willing to humor us. If not, we'll at least get to discuss the state of the medium/genre as a whole and how it can better fit our tastes.
