It was really funny and a good time. They teased each other but this is pretty gentle stuff compared to what other comedians do. The Ricky Gervais show for example where Karl gets ruthlessly mocked as a bald imbecile monkey. It helps that JP members can actually meet up with each other and actually develop relationships in person which then can bleed into their content because they have a better sense of how far they can poke and prod each other without going too far. If you're always only friends online and speaking primarily through Discord messages, there is going to be a bit of a wall you can't completely get over with, though Kiara and Calli can at least somewhat channel the same energy JP does from time to time having both previously been in that situation.

It's not so much a knock on EN as it is just accepting the reality that long-distance friendships have some drawbacks that JP doesn't have to content with since all the talent is at least within the Tokyo area so they're all at least a train-ride away from seeing each other.

The only possible ones really are Gura, Ame and Ina. It's hard to set such moment with Mori, she can only do it towards chat.

But we are comparing this behavior to streamers who have been together longer than the other.

I think there's the expectation that if you get accepted to Hololive, you should at least be in the Tokyo Metropolitan area or at least have access to a train that can get you there, so it's not unfeasible to think some of the members live out in Chiba/Saitama/Kanagawa since at worst it might be an hour-long train ride into Tokyo.

Cover has all the equipment for stuff like the 3D events in Tokyo anyways so it just makes sense to have a central location.
