Thread for vtubers that deserved better, be it that they got bullied, forced out of the industry for no reason, or just in generally deserved more respect before they graduated.

For me its Sio.

In prehistoric times, before this board existed, before HoloEn debuted, when vtubers here were discussed in one small thread in /jp/, one of the most popular vtuber companies was .LIVE. And, it's hard for /vt/ to imagine, but they were more popular than Hololive, and the future looked bright for them.
And in this company, there was a vtuber named Yozakura Tama. Way back when, vtubers were idols, instead of making poopoo and weewee jokes, they were cute, chill and talented, and so was she. She played mahjong on semi-professional level and participated in many games with professional players. She was also very good at drawing.
But on one day, about 1.5 years ago, a drama occurred. Tama started tweeting that .LIVE is a black company and they treat their talents like shit. The specifics are unknown, as neither her nor the company did not cast light on the situation, but everybody sided with her, as everybody believed her. In the end she left with company and even convinced her genmate to live with her.
She presented .LIVE in really bad light, Baacharu, one of the greatest vtubers of all time, disappeared after that drama. Fans were disappointed in that company and many moved on to others. So, right before vtubers popularity skyrocketed, they lost all the momentum and completely overshadowed by rival companies such as Cover. In bizarro universe, this board would only talk about dotlivers and holos would be literally whos, if Tama didn't happen.
But this is not the end of the story. Few months later, Tama reincarnated as indie named Kusunoki Sio. All her former fans continued to support her as she was a talent mistreated by black company now trying hard to rise as an indie. She was fairly popular, her streams were comfy and chill, I liked to watch them, even hough I didn't know shit about mahjong. But then, at the same time as Aloe drama happened, another final yab occurred.
Due to security hole in blog site Note.com, her static IP was revealed. And it turned out, there was a shitposter on 5channel with the same IP address. The said shitposter is known as "ec" because of their id. This shitposter posted on vtuber board and there were thousands of pretty juicy posts that shittalked other vtubers (including your favourite holos), and even doxxed some of them, revealing sensitive information that could only be known by someone who met them personally. The discussion of those posts was a hot topic for almost half a year.
When it was revealed, the reaction of community was predictable. Imagine a chuuba collabs with your oshi and then shitposts about her in anti threads on /vt/. She suddenly made many enemies (there are no notable vtubers she didn't shittalk about, except Towa who is her close friend).
She was dislike bombed on stream live while streaming fall guys and trying to pretend that nothing happened. It seemed like not admitting anything and wait for people to forger about it was her plan, but later she tweeted that she received threats in physical mail to her mailbox, to the place where she lives, and that she is contacting lawyer and won't stream for a while.
As with Aloe, Sio also had white knights, mainly clueless redditors, who claimed it was not her, that somebody framed her, that it was a ninja hiding in her attic and using her wi-fi, but the evidence were overwhelming. More than that, it was proven that she were cheating at mahjong streamsniping her opponents, and that she conditioned some art that she later presented as her own drawings. All in all, she is a serial liar, and a backstabbing judas. Some people are still waiting for her formal apology, some still love her because she is /ourgirl/ who just liked posting rrats and because of her fat ass. Mainly because of fat ass.
To this day, most of .Live vtubers have virtually no growth in subscriber count in a year and they didn't have auditions since when. All they had is 5 graduations. Natori literally cried a river on her graduation, while streaming with virtually no sleep for almost 3 days, because it was her last chance to stream. She didn't stop talking with viewers even when stream was at the end screen, she valued every second she had to be with her fans. Futaba also cried a lot, but for lesser extent. Kongo Iroha was relatively lively, but still sad. Riko and Azuki did't stream for a year and were practically dead, so they didn't even say goodbye.
Sio killed 5, or even 7 good vtubers. She deserves to rot in hell

cool story anon, it helps a newfag like me.

I've read some history of vtubers and it seems tahy the earlier days are filled with companies who had no idea how all of this works. All of them tried to imitate Kizuna Ai and friends, but of course most failed because of the lack of funds.
After the booming popularity of Nijisanji and Hololive, recent companies modeled their management after Cover snd Enikara. And so now we see a more stable industry.

I've barely followed the drama, but I know it resulted in a lot of good porn. Artists are often hesitant to draw (harder) vtuber hentai because there are real people behind the avatars, but Sio was a free for all.

It was a brand new industry, of course nobody really knew how things worked. Everyone was just making shit up as time passed, which is why there's been so many yabs. Right now is actually the shifting point in the industry where we're mostly out of the "wild west, headless chickens running around" period and into a more "ok, we have a few working models now, let's see how long they last" period.

Daily reminder that Japan's net architecture is archaic, and that, depending on her location, anyone from her building complex to her entire city could post while using the same code she does, and proof that someone posted in the thread using the same IP while she was away has been presented already.
>More than that, it was proven that she were cheating at mahjong streamsniping her opponents
This never made it past speculation.
Stop generating drama, you obsessed fag. How long have you been at this?

Any solid proof she was away at that moment, or she wasn’t using Remote Desktop?
Also, ec with the same IP as Sio’s posted several information only Sio could’ve known, including but not limited to the reason why she can’t do drawing stream, the manga artist who was supposed to draw a manga featuring her, and the LINE ID of her ex-boss.
> This never made it past speculation.
She NEVER denied it either. Besides, she even didn’t try to clear up the “speculation” when she had a chance to do so during the last Christmas stream.

It was when she was at her sponsor's headquarters, a train ride away. She posted about it from a laptop she bought, and didn't stream during that entire time.
>or she wasn’t using Remote Desktop?
No one expected the Note IP leak to happen, dude.
>Also, ec with the same IP as Sio’s posted several information only Sio could’ve known, including but not limited to the reason why she can’t do drawing stream, the manga artist who was supposed to draw a manga featuring her,

That's not an argument. For an online personality, denying something only serves to give it life. She has no reason to acknowledge the claim.
>Besides, she even didn’t try to clear up the “speculation” when she had a chance to do so during the last Christmas stream.
What, she's supposed to spend the last stream reminding all of her followers of the controversy surrounding her? If I were Sio, I'd just talk about my time as a Vtuber, and good memories. It's a Christmas stream, Paparazzofag.

That she mentioned it doesn't mean it actually happened. Nothing backs up what she claimed unless Yostar clarifies it.
>No one expected the Note IP leak to happen, dude.
That was when her antis started suspecting her as ec, so she had a valid reason to make up her alibi.
>Reminder: Sio would also likely have been active in the thread.

Could be, but it also means someone living nearby Sio leaked her confidential information, and she had no intention to address it.
>Proof?
ec with the same IP as Sio's clearly stated she was the one who doxxed Hirowa, her ex-boss in Appland. Here's the link.

>That's not an argument. For an online personality, denying something only serves to give it life. She has no reason to acknowledge the claim.
One of the famous Vtubers she collabed with stated he wouldn't be able to collab with her unless she cleared up the rumor about cheating. She has no reason not to talk about it if she wants to continue her career as a Vtuber.
>What, she's supposed to spend the last stream reminding all of her followers of the controversy surrounding her? If I were Sio, I'd just talk about my time as a Vtuber, and good memories. It's a Christmas stream, Paparazzofag.
it was nowhere near a "Christmas stream" you would've imagined. Half of the stream was Sio complaining about the situation she was in, such as the incompetence of Dowango, the fact she ended up being hospitalized due to headache and sore throat, and some complaints about her antis. Also, she somehow didn't talk about Mahjong at all during the stream as if she had nothing to do with it in the first place.

People don't even remember that Kizuna Ai talked about wanting to shill games and get money for it after only a couple of videos. She got to shilling for some shitty game within like a month, with one of the PR guys actually being present in the video itself in the form of some balloon (would never happen in the idol culture that came later). I respected Ai and the company then, they were honest at least. I lost that respect when they came with replacements and not being honest about it.

I remember this piece of shit. Naraka, a nijisanji that knew her personaly in real life, become depressed for half year. Because the girl she believe to be her friends actually also shit talked her. Her strong againts anti and cheerful personality is gone for 6 month. It even makes her to not want to play mahjong anymore.
I do not forgive this bitch. Good thing daruma and arisaka make her genki again.
