It isn't extremely comparable. Vox and Mysta were the only ones that went hard with bfe, and they chose to ask their fans to move on and treat them differently after becoming stressed out with their mentally unstable fanbases. Specifically breaking the bfe illusion stuff. Mysta was pretty likely dating Mika and baiting they were and then saying his fans were being inappropriate for getting upset was a huge factor. Vox saying to respect Reimu and that his fans weren't friends when he farmed parasocial bfe types, then trying to back track to say he was commented to his fans more was another turning point. Then the pasta yab happened and pretty much killed niji male supremacy. The other 3 never tried to cash in on it from the start, and discouraged bfe early on. Women tapered off naturally as their boundaries were enforced more, but they also were less popular by far. It's less that women weren't loyal and more they were yelled at to leave, and asking mentally unstable women to do that will make them leave permanently generally. But they then asked to come back for non-bfe content, which none of them wanted. You can't market yourself one way then get angry at those fans fuck off. They haven't recovered from giving the market something it didn't have but was starved for, taking it back, then trying to give them something else entirely. To this day someone could cash in on it if they were stable enough and willing to deal with that crowd. But doing it long term seems to cause psychological distress to the streamer too.
