Okayu Asacatsu 1/2

Just like the title says, Okayu slept about 14 hours yesterday. She went home after the morning stream with Korosan yesterday, went to sleep a little after noon, and just woke up a couple of hours ago. She still doesn't have a good grasp of how much time has actually passed(She thinks the the stream with Korosan was 2 days ago instead of just 1). Did she see Korosan's announcement? Actually, she set an alarm to wake up and watch it, but she was still half asleep during it, so her memory of it is a little hazy. This is probably just the result of her getting too far behind on her sleeping schedule; it happens sometimes. Her head is still a little fuzzy, but her body feels great.

>Tonight's game: Imperishable Night
Do you want to hear it? You'll probably be surprised. Tonight she'll play Touhou: Imperishable Night. This might be her first shooting game she's ever played, and it's definitely her first Touhou. In high school, she had friends who really liked the series, so she heard about it and thought the characters were cute, but she didn't have a PC at her house until way later, so she couldn't play it. Now she has a PC of her own, so it's no problem. Why IN? Her previous manager really loved Touhou, and she called them up to ask what they'd recommend she play. She thought about asking Senchou too, but she's been real busy lately, so Okayu decided not to bother her.

Yep. Okayu filled her water when she went to use the bathroom earlier. As for food, it might not play her voice saying "Temari, gohan da yo~" anymore, but her food is still taken care of by an automatic feeder. It really is a convenient thing to have. She knew from the start that she could probably feed her in the mornings, but that a feeder would come in handy for the nights where she got home late from work.

Okayu gets annoyed by a slight bit of static coming from her mic's connection, and takes a bit of time to find what position will get rid of the static. Does Okayu normally listen to her own voice while talking? Yep. She knows there's a lot of people who hate doing this, but she's gotten used to it over the years, even if it was kind of unpleasant at first. She wants to understand how people hear her, and be able to pick up on any audio issues as soon as they happen, so she made herself get used to this. She knows it's not a matter of having a good or bad voice, and that it's due to how the sounds reverberate in your own head, but thinks it's more important to understand how others are hearing you. Just like how it's easier to improve your singing if you listen to yourself on playback, and work on your weaknesses.

It's nice being able to meet everybody in the morning, also for people who can't normally make it to her streams. It also gives her more determination to go and do errands she should do earlier in the day, as opposed to putting them off until tomorrow.

Did she watch Korosan's morning stream? Yeah, she got up and listened to it as she got into the bath earlier. Okayu has a policy where she doesn't want to stream until she's at least had a bath and brushed her teeth. Okayu doesn't really care for baths, being more of a shower cat, but she really enjoys the refreshing feeling that comes after. She hates the hot air in the bath afterwards, but likes going to stand in front of the AC in the living room. Would putting a fan in the room have the same effect? An air circulator? What's that? The only time Okayu's heard the word "circulator" is when her Baa-chan mistakenly calls "Renai Circulation" "Renai Circulator". Interesting, she might look into getting one to further upgrade the Nekomata Inn.

>Pushing herself
Okayu still tries to live her life at her own pace. She pays attention to when she's not feeling well enough to stream, and Mane-chan always makes sure to check with her before she takes extra work on for new projects. There are times, usually near the end of the month, where she gets so busy she doesn't have time for almost anything else, but she still thinks it's important to know when to refuse extra work.

Okayu is really excited; please look forward to it. Each time she looks at her outfit, she thinks about the reveal and gets really nervous. It felt like just yesterday that she had a full week to prepare, but the reveal is tomorrow now! 30 minutes is kind of short, so she wants to do a membership stream after it's over while wearing her new clothes. Everybody drew so many great predictions for her outfit, that she wants to showcase and talk about them on stream. There's a very small chance she might have to wait until the next day though. This new outfit is certainly more bold than what she wore before, but it's also really cute. Okayu's worried that it might seem like the clothes are wearing her, rather than the opposite.

What could she even put in there that they could eat everyday? She's lucky that Temanyan is fine with eating dry food, since there's cats that will only eat wet food instead. Cornflakes? That might be nice.

Temanyan takes to whatever new food Okayu gives her, got used to their new reisdence rather quickly before, isn't too rambunctious, and shows it when she's not feeling well. She really is a good cat. Would Okayu prefer to marry a picky eater or not? She's fine with either, but maybe a picky eater, if she had to choose. She can be a picky eater herself; when there's something she likes to eat for breakfast, she has it every morning. It was grape bread before, but now it's been furikake rice.

Okayu really loves her new round shades, but Korosan seems to fear them. Maybe it's because she can't see her eyes? They are Okayu's charm point after all. Okayu doesn't watch Jujutsu Kaisen that much, but apparently people say she resembles Goujou Satoru with them on. He has pretty eyes too? Shades seem like a fit for people with pretty eyes, like her, the gap they create is great. She really loves these glasses though. She'd like to keep using them here and there, especially when joking around.

Okayu thinks it's mysterious how people push themselves through hard times and work, even when they hate it and feel like it's impossible. You might actually hurt yourself if you just think you can push through anything though, so make sure to take it easy at times. A system where people have lights on their foreheads that flash when they need to sleep might be a good idea; that way you couldn't overwork them. It might ruin your private life though, because people could tell if you were properly sleeping or not. Okayu talks about this system for a while.

Furikake rice! Okayu's been eating this every breakfast lately. She likes the tamago nori furikake the best.

>Three inconveniences
Okayu sees a lot of superchats saying they have to go off to work, and apologizes for the sudden stream. Not only is it early in the morning, but it's also a guerrilla, and on a weekday; a true triple threat. She understands how people feel though; she has to go out for some important work before tonight's stream herself.

Okayu Imperishable Night 1/2

>First-timer
It's Okayu's first Touhou, and first shooting game in general. She mentioned it earlier, but she's playing this at recommendation of her past Mane-chan from a while back. What about Senchou? She actually sent Okayu a message on discord earlier, saying that she was really excited for the stream. Okayu knows that people say even normal is pretty difficult for these games, and knows the stigma/meme that easy mode is only for elementary school kids, but she still thinks she'll go with easy mode first.

>Amazing Marine
Doesn't Marine talk a lot while playing this game at the same time? Okayu watched a bit of one of her Touhou streams a really long time ago, and remembers her being really talkative while dodging endless danmaku. Okayu can hardly believe it now, it seems way too hard to talk while also focusing on dodging all these endless bullets.

Okayu says the game's BGM is amazing. She thinks they're all fantastic, but seems to like stage 3's "Nostalgic Blood of the East ~ Old World" the most. She also remembers old Mane-chan saying that there were a lot of subjects/themes incorporated into the music, and that Okayu would probably be good at picking up on them with her insane love for game BGM. She thinks they probably meant things like "Kagome Kagome" being incorporated in stage 5's theme, or the pieces that incorporate samples from the title theme.

Former Mane-chan suggested 4 games in total to Okayu, and she intends to play all of them, at the very least. Besides Imperishable Night, she also suggested Perfect Cherry Blossom, Mountain of Faith, and Unconnected Marketeers.

>Thoughts
Okayu really likes the series already; she can see herself getting obsessed with it. She knew it was popular, but this exceeded her expectations. The game is fun, the music is great, and she likes the way all the characters talk and interact with each other. She can see why people practice so hard, just to hear more of the amazing BGM. She's happy she managed to clear easy mode this time(kind of), even if she didn't get very far in normal, and wants to do some practicing off-stream to prepare for normal mode and the other games. She wants to get good enough to have everybody say "Okayu's sure gotten good, hasn't she?" and other praise. To the people who said they had fun watching it as their introduction, she thinks it'll be 500 times more fun if they try to play it themselves. She wants to hurry up and get better at it. Even though she only played for about an hour and a half, it's still lingering in her mind heavily. She wishes she'd encountered this game much earlier.
