A VTuber is very similar to a streamer (minor differences, but similar nonetheless) in that you're entertaining/performing for people. If you can't do that, then it's hard to retain viewers. I'm not trying to rain on your parade. It's just the harsh truth. Just keep these things in mind because an entertainer is what a VTuber is. You need to be able to laugh off your mistakes and not be afraid of making them. As for actions and words, that part is to not only be yourself, but the entertaining part of your personality.

Many people forget or just don't know about how difficult it is to be a VTuber. It's more than just a pretty moving picture.

Same anon here. I forgot to mention that while it doesn't seem like it, auditioning to become a VTuber is basically applying for a job. You're trying to convince the company why they should hire you and that you're able to be profitable for the company. Urara also said this in the stream where she talked about the differences between an indie VTuber and a company VTuber.

My advice for those people auditioning here is to put in effort in your application. Don't just introduce yourself and talk about what you can do, show it. If you can draw, then draw things for your application. If you can sing, then showcase your ability. If you can edit videos well, demonstrate it throughout your audition video. Same goes for your past achievements, show them. Both Urara and Char said they want to see effort in applications.
