Experience is more than just having livestreamed a bit. Talent is more than just being able to sing without shitting yourself. If it all comes down to knowing japanese and being friends with holos, then nepotism is the name of the game. Once you're in, you're in forever. You can stream once a month and still get by because Cover never fires anyone anymore even when they have sex on stream. It's a full on spoiled whores club now, and the ones with work ethic carry the rest or get driven out. I can't foresee this ending well, but damn is it fun to shitpost about.

My point is that being "scouted" was a big thing in the start but slowly became irrelevant, especially for ID/EN since it was impossible for them to have ties.

Yes it's not linear but if you're unable to show that talent in the recruitment then it's basically a shot in the dark for the staff, they're not going to sit there and watch 10 hours of each candidate in the hopes that they "will eventually get better", qualities that are easier to highlight are more desired since it's like killing two birds with one stone.
