The problem isn't that these girls can't hold a conversation. It's that Kiara doesn't fit in with them. Her personality and interests lean pretty normalfag while the other EN girls are mostly quiet, ex-tumbler types. Look how much Gura talks when she's with Ame. Look how much Promise talk when they're with each other. The only EN Kiara really fits in with is Nerissa.

NTA. It's not the accents, but the manner of speaking for a non-native speaker. I get what he means because I've cringed at ESLs before. Not always, but often they come across as a bit out of place in how they speak and it can make things a tad awkward. It's probably the ones who have learnt the language but not spent enough time amongst natives speakers to adopt the afformentioned nuances.

I don’t like mori or most of the streams she does but when Kiara isn’t in the collab she has regular conversations she’s not trying to hard or trying piggy back. On the flip side the only way to get Ame to speak is to have her in a collab with Kiara because she keeps trying to include her in the convo. Ina and Gura are a mess because ina wants to be entertained by the others while Gura is in her own head thinking about the secrets of the universe or fart jokes. Gura by default goes good with everyone in en as long as it doesn’t reach 5+ people because at that point she forgets to enter the convo.
Myth as a whole is a mess and it was the same with council because 5 people is too much
