Youtube ad revenue is too good for them to move to twitch. They would make more in memberships and donations because twitch is much better designed for squeezing money out of viewers. Say what you want, Twitch is more restrictive than Youtube. On speech and content both. It's easier to stream on Twitch, there is less delay, and for newbies it is easier to get noticed, but if you have a large existing audience youtube is better.

Nobody cares which platform has the more retarded toddler with a shotgun for algo, which platform is technically suited better for streaming, which platform bans peepeepoopoo, which platform has better user interaction, etc. What matters is discoverability. Vtuber corps don't want to get raided by Asmongold after sucking his dick and get a bunch of retards spamming frogs and ayaya in chat or whatever the fuck twitch streamers do to get popular. They want a billion kids watching unrelated Minecraft videos on youtube to watch vtuber clips after getting them in their recommended, which then will lead to those kids getting vtuber streams and music videos in their recommended. They don't want people to just watch the streams and throw a dollar at them, they want the entire ecosystem to boost their numebrs out the ass. No platform that focuses solely on streaming will ever be able to match that.
