Is Niji just shit at hiring management overseas?
In Japan Niji is a serious competitor (and in some periods superior in tech and market share) to Cover.
But outside of Japan they're a laughing stock that struggles against the leading small corpos, let alone Hololive.

lol NijiJP is just as much of shitshow filled with drama, accelerate bullshit and other black company shenanigans. It's solely surviving thanks to a couple old guard talents too big to fall.

Nijisanji got big in japan primarily because they had the first mover advantage and secondarily because they discovered a niche and expanded to fill it as fast as possible. The issue is that they seem completely incapable of actually innovating and just repeat the same process whenever they try to break into a foreign market where the conditions are completely different so more often than not they just fall flat on thier face.

Niji coasts off like 3 popular talents and a cult of brand worship across their entire fanbase. There are more niji streamers with sub 1k CCV than over it.

>> No.61372862

>>61368784
Wrong. In Nijisanji is same shit in Japan as in EN. Lots or retarded drama, same incompetence, same acceleration, and no room for innovations. They are holding themselves together because they have few talents who are their guaranteed cashcows (like Kazuha), so they get lots of love while everyone else is getting spit into their faces.

Watching NijiEN fall to phase connect is hilarious. The fishman doesn't even run PC as his main job.

It gets even more funny when you realize that PC's talents mostly do vtubing as side hustle instead of full time job unlike Nijikeks who have work their asses off and deal with 2% meme.

It's not only the innovation aspect, but really the entire business model (and by extension the CEO's mindset) Anycolor builds on. Riku Tazumi described himself in an interview some time ago as a person who follows the hottest trends and wants to make big profits quickly. If one project fails in his eyes, he moves on to the next one to milk it dry. Rinse and repeat. I genuinely hate him from the bottom of my heart considering his current success is mainly built on a lot of goodwill, passion and maybe to some degree also naivety of people he hires. The consolidation of former branches, projects like yumenographia and the way Nijisanji is set up on releasing new waves of talents within a short amount of time while also keeping talent support to a necessary minimum just fits too well into this, but that's just my personal opinion desu.

You have no ide how aggressively and cartoonishly fast Nijisanji flooded the market

For context: There was a 7 month-gap between Sora's debut and Gen1, and by the end of 2018 hololive had 15 talents

Meanwhile 5 months after Mito's debut there wera already 5 entire niji waves/gens and by the end of 2018 they had 59 motherfucking talents

>> No.61376356

>>61373642
No. And no one cared about it either. It was seen as a positive move if anything.

JP is doing extremely good, especially with all their recent events. It does seem like they're finally cooking stuff with EN though, but it wont be on the level of JP any time soon. It's too high of s bar to reach for now.

Nijisanji is using the American capitalist system of only focusing on destructive short term profits at the expense of their talents and everything else. >>61374281
NijiEN under this formula is destined to collapse since the only good talents they have left like Pomu and Selen are there only because of blind loyalty that Niji is exploiting, like with Pomu or management has gaslit them into thinking they would be nothing without Nijisanji, like Selen.
Anyone who knows their value and doesn't want to take the abuse is fucking off, like Nina did.

Acceleration, shit management, too many yabs from talents.
No one is helping the talents with projects or guidance. No one is making sure talents are kept in check. The ratio of management to talents is too high (even if they are shit).
Isn't this also how the KR branch was a disaster?
