I think its a smart decision to not participate in the next tournament. She would be in a lose-lose situation:
-If she wins, people will say she went try-hard mode after getting mindbroken, and she only won because she trained with a coach;
-If she loses, people will make fun of her for losing even with the help of a coach (its pretty possible, since Kiara tends to get really nervous and make mistakes under pressure)

I watched the ID game after the ID+EN game. Moona expands all over the place, but she's really not good at all in that game. At one point she spends several minutes using monks to steal Kobo's houses while doing little else. It's hilarious to watch. She only won because the rest of ID was somehow even worse.

I'm a (real) sapling and I think Kiara was the most valuable player in the match. Sure Fauna won, but Kiara made it exciting.
And the real reason things turned out the way they did was mainly because Fauna was allowed all the time in the world to build up an unstoppable force, not because of some massive skill differential. Had Kronii not built the wonder, things might have looked very different.
Win or lose, Kiara and Fauna were clearly the two most skilled players.
