Spider Girl. Deredere. Hugely into knitting and related stuff. Used to draw and rig her own model before switching to Hololive. From Chile, speaks rudimentary Mapadungun in addition to Spanish. Starts out with a pretty cheap rig but upgrades as she gains popularity. Pretty capable at playforming, a bit into retro stuff (because she could never afford up to date games). Decent, but not exceptional singer. Will do an Onyx Equinox watchalong.

Beetle Girl. Taiwanese hafu. Fluent in Japanese and the group's best artist. Absolutely refuses to speak Chinese on stream and sticks exclusively to English and Japanese. Fairly high pitch when singing. Has a ridiculous amount of accessories for her model. Starts her career with a pretend-blind playthrough of the Command & Conquer remake and declares Kane her husbando. Absolutely refuses to participate in yuribait. Pretty mediocre singer, but probably the best artist in the group, if not up to Ina's level.

Damselfly Girl. Also from 'murrica. Loves all things cute. Huge fan of Ace Combat and Armoured Core. Second best singer of the group. Her model is ridiculously excessively animated. Has a gigantic collection of comfy anime for watchalongs. Will occasionally post vids of her nature garden's arthropod wildlife and her pet garter snake, narrating it like a BBC documentary.

EN2 will probably have members with more standout talents., since that's what is mostly lacking with Myth. Ina and Mori stand out, others are more like variety streamers. Kiara tried to seperate herself from that, but hasnt really succeeded.
Moris songs are popular and unconventional when looking at the whole idol-picture, so I wouldnt be surprised if atleast 1 member of EN2 has a more of an unique musical talent. Maybe a metal voice.
I doubt they will have a loli since Gura has succesfully filled that niche.
Definitely more EN/JP speakers too.

True, though it was also a product of the time. Autumn 2018 Hololive debuts didn't bombard you with 100 k subs and 50 k viewers at debut.

Subaru's actual debut is privated/deleted, but her reaction video to it is still up, and she repeatedly apologises for multiple fuckups pre/during debut, for which the fanbase back then appears to have given her a rather hard time.

She managed, got over it, grew into the job and won everyone over, but that was a lot easier back then with maybe 1% of the audience she'd have if she debuted now.

Whether a Subaru-equivalent could handle the dramatically higher pressure now is debatable, and judging by how Cover nowadays requires streaming experience, Cover seems doubtful as well. And I don't think that's unreasonable. A couple hundred or a couple ten thousand viewers do make a difference.
