It's closed source (I think). So we just have to take their word for it. Just like with CAI and AIsekai. However, given that some people would willingly used logged proxies or ignored the fact that key owners and OAI themselves could see prompts, I don't really think there's much to lose.

Fair enough that's reasonable.

Faraday is just another front-end with an opportunity to pay to use their cloud GPU. This seems to be the new trend for these types of projects. Chub/Venus has done it. Agnai has also done it. However, I believe Agnai and ST are open-source, I can't actually read code I just pretend to know what I'm talking about, and capable of running locally with local models. Faraday looks like an attempt to offer those same features but make the installation process as simple as possible. If you are capable of reading instructions then you can install ST. If you can install ST then I see very little reason to use Faraday.

What are some potential hooks for wholesomeness that could be baked into a card? Or even a “universal” lorebook for bots (for example, a plaza with a pizza place, shopping mall for dates, a bed bath and beyond, etc., or a mall with a theater and clothing stores or whatever)?

I was thinking of looking at some real life floor plans/maps to give the AI some hooks to work with.
