People saying it was because of Covid is also wrong, the Covid decline happened in the later of 2021. Almost two years ago.
What caused the actual decline is the fact that all these girls besides Kiara didn't stream for 6 months and barely had anything to show for it.
People give Gura shit for not streaming, but every single one of the EN girls was doing the same thing. The average day was a Kiara stream and that it was, consecutively, for a week and a half at a time besides the occasional greed stream from one of the girls or a stream where they talk about how much fun they were having hanging out together without chat.
Add onto the Mori drama, Sana graduating, the Rust drama, Irys model drama, Airbnb drama, Kronii who kept only playing shit games and refusing to do Karaoke or play minecraft on stream is what caused the decline. All Tempus did was just add onto the list of problems.

Unrelated topic but I have a schizio theory that Anime will lean more into being more episode 1 centric in order to catch audience attention as quickly as possible. Imagine the youtube format rule but applied in anime. We can already see this in shit like ONK and Frieren where both show starts with an hour long high production episode 1 in order to get the audience hook asap.
The bad thing about this is that cases like zom 100 will happen more where the show have a deceptively good episode 1 followed by an instant collapse of the production quality.
