I'd say it's a good couple times more soothing than Oolong. Oolong was my go to relaxation tea until I had some Shou Mei, just wipes my mind clear. Don't think I've tried Orange Pekoe straight out. There was a Prince of Wales blend I tried that had some Broken Orange Pekoe in it. I thought that was really nice.

I've heard a lot of good things about chamomile, I'd try it, but you know, herbal. Maybe I'll see if there's a way to make a blend with something. But yeah, Earl Grey holds a special place in my heart. It's just a good well rounded tea, so I was especially happy when she had that on her teaparty stream. Shame about the whole bag though, and the steeping for what seemed like too long and the tea itself most likely going cold.

For me it allows you to enjoy the flavor profile more. Smells are nicer too. Some of the smells of the tea that fill my room on any regular afternoon or morning, just absolutely divine. You don't get that sort of thing with regular tea bags. Though you do also need to have it straight to appreciate that kind of thing. no milk, no sugar, no honey, etc. Once you have a mouth for it and see if you like it, then well, you can add that in. Very rarely on occasion I'll boil some milk on the stovetop and add the leaves directly to the milk to make a really nice pure milk tea, it's very decadent and can make me feel a little bloated, but it's worth it. Way better than adding milk after the thing, or diluting the milk with water. Gross.

Absolutely not anon, that's the exact mentality of someone I had to end up leaving because of how they would not talk and everything had to have a solution. There is a balance. I've always been there for people in the past, but if I ever went to them with an issue then other men would usually just give me some canned shitty advice ("just go to the gym bro" type shit when I was already fairly buff from being a regular gym goer) or abandon me entirely. Didn't get to finish my post as I got caught up at work, but I wanted to add that certain things also just change with value as you age, it seems. I still look pretty young and I do cosplay, including women- My makeup skills are better than some women I know. Thanks Novelite, (You) were my motivation to break 500k steppies for September. I might actually take it easier for October since I fucked up my left knee running really hard a few weeks ago (not in running shoes, stupidly enough--I've since corrected that), but kept on pushing for steppies throughout the month to not let you down. It's gotten mildly better but I think it needs more time to heal instead of the shit that I'm putting it through.
