It's ok anon, you aren't alone and most people in this generation won't reproduce either. Even without becoming a paypig, being /here/ and watching vtubers is already heavily correlated with being a genetic dead end, so we might as well embrace it. That said, the only thing wrong/questionable is deciding to donate for free content...at most just member for additional content like a regular sane human being, but jumping into akasupa/donation territory is a whole new level of simping that should be reserved for twitch thots and onlyfans. There surely has to be something more of more value you can spend cash on than simping for an anime girl, worst case consider escorts, rental GFs, hostess bars or the like to at least get SOMETHING in return. Anyone who has even considered going down the paypig route is already far too gone to return to humanity, the only option is to accept ATM life and enter a whole new degenerate world of pay2play and transactional relationships. If it's any consolation, most relationships fail and most marriages end in divorce, where the odds are you'll lose far more than you could ever spend on paypigging for your oshi.

Your oshi's hard work should motivate you to improve yourself (hi Ame), not look for a real GF. Chasing a real GF will almost inevitably end in failure, whereas actual effort put on your own life will result in some progress at least (If you invest in her and she leaves, you have nothing. If you improve yourself and find a GF as a result, even if she leaves, you have achieved something to get a new one to replace her). That said, I'm a nihilistic doomer who has given up on 3dpd, and choose to embrace GFE as the hedonist's choice for fantasy escapism. The choice is simple: take the blue pill and enjoy 2d anime waifus, or take the red pill and go back to /soc/ to become a normie. At this stage, I don't want an idol or an oshi, I want my degenerate coomer GFE ASMR, and that's exactly what this hobby is best for.
