This kind of goes with how some vtubers are entertaining more because the chat is funny and conjured up some stupid memes and rituals with he chuuba than anything the chuuba herself did. Not all talents use users being funny as a crutch but some certainly do.

In both cases it's "the fans are more interesting or funby than the chuuba" which is sad but true for many. Girls just usually aren't that funny, or at least not funnier / wittier than the average male viewer.

Most vtubers worth watching are in japanese. Only like 50 posters on this board know enough japanese to actually understand streams.
Realistically, most /vt/ fags only know about 10 clips worth of lore about their "oshi".
This means that your average /vt/ard has three options when posting here:

(1) Regurgitate the same three factoids she learned from a SEAclipper
(2) Rrat aka engage in creative fiction
(3) Meta board drama and forced memes (tribalposting, HFZ, etc.)

I used to think this but unlike most things that Kiwifags target there’s very little actual drama going on. Everything regarding Nijisanji and especially Hololive is blown out of proportion if not outright fabricated. And it’s going to dry up even more. As the market continues to constrict, there’s going to be less and less tolerance towards shitstirrers from both large indies and corpos (i.e. Vtubers that matter) in an attempt to protect their brands. If you don’t watch streams there really isn’t much here for you. You’re better off mocking Political Activists as they are an eternal goldmine of lulz.
