Hear me out:

Fantasy Football, but of your favorite gameplay channels who play the same games regularly.

What is fantasy football?
A game based on football stats that transform into points.

If a vtuber team watched several streams of gameplay and logged everything down into stats a league could be formed from these players.
The vtuber could allow chat to use channel points to buy a virtual sports player.
Afterwards every week the host could plug in each e-sports players stats into the machine, and a ai generated game would play out showing how the points were accumulated.
The vtuber could host over the game, and in the end give the channel points to the chatter who purchased the best performing player their winnings (channel points from a predictions).

This could be a very fun way to pass times for viewers not unlike fantasy football, but instead of football it's based on twitch e-sports which twitch chatters are more likely to enjoy compared to football.
Who knows? Maybe twitch will even adopt this idea, and give you a option to do this sort of thing with their streamloots system?

I think on youtube it should depend a lot on how established your channel is. If you don't have many subscribers it doesn't matter how long you stream, YouTube makes 0 effort to get random people into a stream beyond telling your current subs that you are streaming. So in this case it doesn't do a whole lot of good to stream for a long time. Seems like the majority of a youtube channel's growth happens offline anyway.

If you do happen to have an established subscriber base that does come to watch your streams, you should see kind of a ramping up of your viewer count over a few hours until a certain point where the attrition of viewers gets higher than new arrivals. Usually after a few hours, but could be dependent on the times in different timezones as you stream.

They do if you upload your vidoes to twitch. It's like highlights sort of. You can upload a video to a category, but very few users use this feature, and even less people watch uploaded content.
I mostly use it to watch vtubers who gave twitch a try before holo was ever big, and then they gave up once they saw twitch was a dead end, and then they went on to Facebook.

I got an offer from a small corpo (they hire Hololive illustrator and their biggest talent is only 100k on YT) and the contract was extremely predatory. It was a real company that showed up in that japan stock list thing. I didn't sign. I had a 2 hour video call with their CEO and the terms are so predatory. They really want to take advantage of naive young people. It was really terrible. I don't know why they offered to me honestly, I had no streaming experience, and the other talents they hired were more fitting like professional singers and stuff. I'm glad I read the contract very carefully before I signed anything wtf. Like they put clauses in the contract they didn't even mention to me in our video calls and emails!!!
