I still think that they are basically the ideal vtuber group. They're each very talented, but in areas very different from each other. Which means there is likely at least one girl to appeal to everyone. Or for someone who watches all of them, like me, it makes for a large variety of content. And when they come together, they make up for what each other lacks. That's what every corpo should strive for when picking talents for with a new "gen".
And I've never agreed with people who say they have "no chemistry" either.

I don't know if my comparaison makes sense, but Myth feels like a ride on a bumpy road in the middle of the summer, while Council feels more like a chill and clean ride on a well-kept road.
The first one is more of a shitshow, but it just feels like a way funnier experience to live if you make the best out of it. The fact that girls who have so little in common managed to become friends and even to have such a big amount of success just makes me root for them. They're far from perfect, and you could even say that they're a bunch of retards who have done some of the worst career choices out there, but the retardation is a part of the experience.

I mean, that's pretty much business, but they do happen to hang out with each other. There's definitely not friendships between everyone, but a good relationship with your coworkers and the ability to enjoy your time with them just translates into a great workplace.
Ina and Gura got to hang out a lot in Japan, Mori and Kiara go out eating often when they meet, and let's not forget that time when they went to the enjoyment park together. Ina clearly talked about being happy to have friends like them because of how rare it was for her to have relationships like these in the past.
If these aren't friendships, I would at least describe them as close acquaintances.

You need people who can sing, people who can draw, polyglots, people open for collabs and sponsorships, people with goals and milestones set far in the future. Simple gamers don't do that, so when one of them gets into Hololive, it's basically a waste of a slot for something great in exchange for a stable audience of low demands.
