Which friendships between holomembers do you think are genuine, as opposed to "mandated" or "in-character" ones?
I think Mori and Kiara aren't friends IRL, while Bae and Mumei are

It's a well-known fact that Takamori died a long time ago thanks to Mori, of course they still interact and probably have no bad blood between them but there's nothing like a friendship or close bonds, it's purely work.

Outside that particular situation there's not many scenarios of holos having real bad fallouts, PekoMiko which ended in a real bad note being the notable exception, the rest are more or less a mix of "let's go for more sales" (PekoMari, MiComet) and genuine "I like this person so I want to hang with her more" (SorAzki, SubaLuna), the notable exception being Okakoro who are and will be friend pretty much forever (I'd go as far as to say all of GAMERS and SMOK in fact, since their chemistry is absolutely fantastic)

Friends in the sense of all being veterans who built EN together. Still friends, but growing apart a bit nowadays. Gura busy with personal stuff and being overwhelmed by her own position within EN. Kiara and Mori working on personal projects. Ame burnout. Ina doing things on her own pace and keeping to herself.

I think all of them are genuine friends, and they seem to always have good time together. We could argue who is the closest, or who keeps to herself the most, but there doesn't seem to be any particular pairing (not in shipping sense) that would be awkward with each other. Maybe Sana's departure, and the fact they are all fairly close in terms of popularity (removing reasons for jealousy), keeps them closer together than Myth.

A bit early to tell, but right now they are still in mandated phase. FWMC have their ambition (and being twins they already have their unique bond, which can be a problem when others have to interact with both of them at once 95% of the time), Nerissa wishes to be closer to her senpais, Shiori is more of an individual that won't gel too well with others, Bijou will probably be the only one who can find good connection with all her genmates.

PoruFure is probably the most genuine pure-holo friendship (as in, didn't exist before hololive). Not only have they never tried to sell their friendship as anything more than what it is, they have each helped the other grow and overcome personal issues. Their friendship has never wavered since they first started hanging out nearly three years ago, and I'd be surprised if they don't remain fast friends even after Hololive.

People who said Takamori aren't friends are pretty retarded. Even when the ship was going on, they used to hang out off stream a lot. They went to an expensive vacation together. Even after Takamori died, they still talked and collabed a fair bit, Mori visited Kiara in Austria and they had multiples dates like a candlelight dinner on a fairy's wheel or a ride through Austria on a carriage. When Kiara got back to Japan, they did multiples offcollab and date, like Mori organizing a date on a painting class along with a dinner just for her and Kiara despite Myth being all here.

SMOK in general seem to have really close bonds, same for OKFAMS. Out of them I think Mio and Subaru are incredibly close, like Mio letting Subaru stay at her house when Subaru was organising her move. They seem to meet up a lot as well even when not doing offcollabs.

I'm not a fan of Mori. I fucking hate Takamori. The friendship she has with Kiara is real. HOWEVER: It was not real - or at least not formed at the beginning. Kiara was stuck in lockdown Japan with nothing and no one. She latched onto Mori hard as a coping mechanism. Mori played along. When Kiara finally got home and back into her real life and her mental state improved was when her friendship with Mori became much more authentic.
