I have spent more time reading retards than what i would have EVER imagined and i had to act as if they were the funniest kid in town to not lose viewers or get criticized, AND even when i suck the milk of every stupid chatter that gets going in the chat they still complain, they demand more, they oblige me to do content even after i tell them that i do not fucking want, and i even had meltdowns in the middle of multiple streamings because they just roll up the rules and instert them up their assholes and come full-on retard mode to the chat and play with me because they want their content. There are some guys that have sent me multiple time dickpics and that create multiple accounts in every way, shape, and social media that i am just to annoy the shit out of me. The "donors" are the worst because they feel entitled to tell me almost every time what i need to be doing to earn "more" (in reality just THEIR )money or views. And i have "mods" that cant even ban a guy even after five minutes, forcing me to stop everything because a bot or a retarded started doing shit.
Anyways, i got stressed trying to make this post, i hope the idea was clean: DO NOT BECOME A VTUBER, THERE IS NOTHING TO GAIN, STOP BEFORE YOU FEEL INDEBTED AND YOU START FORCING YOURSELF

On Monday I forgot to eat for like 26 hours then fell asleep in the middle of the day, ruining my sleep schedule, and it kind of snowballed into feeling tired all week.

This might be your first time doing a character design or interacting with an artist, but its very simple. They need to know what the hell you're looking for, and very often your text descriptions aren't going to cut it. Art is a visual medium and almost always derivative of other artwork.

Give them a whole .rar of other artwork similar to what you want, objects and items with the same shape, texture, color, style, tricks of light, etc as what you want. "References" are things that your artist can look at and say "oh, they want it to look kinda like that." A recent design I submitted to an artist that I won't see fully until probably next year has reference materials like:
-my existing reference sheet, so obviously include if you have, disregard if you don't or your change is radical
-any art that I used as inspiration for that original reference
-pictures that are specifically references to either types, styles, colors of clothing or of specifically how certain clothing fits on the character.
-small items that the character might wear or carry with
-some location scenes of places the character might likely be seen or found
-a short clip from a movie showing how I might see the character move

Be creative, give them too much information, as long as its all information you would want integrated or included in some way to the design. The point is to give them as much raw material to work with as possible in making your design for you.

Cost me nothing, I got the assets for free from some friends and slapped them together in blender in a couple minutes. If youre just starting out i'd recommend buying stuff on booth.pm and learn to do basic kitbashing in blender, it wont cost you anywhere near as much as a custom model and swapping out the hair, eye color and outfit will make it unique enough already. Id only check to make sure if the artist allows usage for streaming, but most are fine with it.

There's new chuubas all the time, and there's advice too. It's just not enough to keep a thread alive and it's better to build a thread culture if you come here to alleviate boredom. I usually try to drop a textwall to chuubas that seem like they could use the advice and I sometimes help them out with their assets if I can. Some artists lurk here drawing new chuubas that gives them some confidence that they are being perceived. And some are actually here to watch some of the new peeps.

This thread isn't all bad, I actually kinda like it here. Yes a lot it is pointless larping / baiting and schizoposting but you can just not react to it if it bores you and check the thread once every couple days to see if there's anything new. As a chuuba myself I don't want to lose touch with the hobby so instead of just streaming in my echo-chamber I want to see what ideas other people come up with, it's always refreshing to see new people take a spin on it.
