Thinking about making a setting to represent the cynical side of /vt/ where every fanbase is more like the stereotype catalog has of them and everyone is always fluctuating between extremes. Space travel is done through the creation of threads which are points of space stretched into 4th dimensional tunnels in order achieve ftl travel, threads tend to rapidly collapse if too many people or too few people use them and deposit the occupants of their thread into the if a new thread is not baked in time.

There are some parallels yeah, I think Kronies stuck to their pre-debut culture more strongly than novelites, novelites transitioned from braindead coomer to mostly braindead gosling with a bit of braindead coomer, while the coomerism continued to dominate in /inf/.
Also they're still probably the gayest advent fanbase, though they pale in comparison to legends like Kronies, Saplings or Teamates.
