She has shown that she can be autistically devoted to some things, unfortunately actually going hard into learning japanese isn't really all too high on that list of things she actually cares about.

At least from a pure numbers perspective, I don't think you should expect EN2 to actually do even BETTER than EN1, or you'd be only setting yourself up for disappointment. It's not even guaranteed that EN2 will just be "on par", maybe we've already crossed the zenith (at least for Holo popularity).

EN1 was a massive "lightning in a bottle" confluence of fortunate timing. Hololive in general was on a massive incline throughout late 2019 and 2020 leading up to EN's debut. We can all name the viral meme clips that contributed to it, the rise of Gen3 and Gen4 that brought Hololive more and more attention, and the hunger and readiness for the western/EOP fanbase to finally get "their" vtubers (remember how before HoloEN, people were so starved for english speaking vtubers that relative shitters like Hana Macchia for example could get their five minutes of fame as the fotm EOP-darling, and now nobody cares for her again), and all these circumstances crested in the wave breaking that were the first few weeks/months of HoloEN1s debuts.

Now that the "honeymoon" period is long over, and audience numbers/expectations have become more settled/stabilized, it's hard to capture that same lightning in a bottle again, or even improve upon it. The novelty value of "omg, an anime girl that speaks english?!?!" for the normies has become more accustomed to (also the rise of other non-holo english speaking vtubers, so people aren't as starved for choice anymore) and lessened, so unless Cover debuts some amazing people again (not just generic diamond dozen cute streamers) with tangible talents in new fields (for example we already got "huh, an anime girl that DOES RAP?!?", so something unexpected like that, only new) that can draw even more outside people in, it's probably not reasonable to expect the same (or even better) growth for EN2 again.

I actually liked this one despite it being the weakest so far, but with Watoto giving very short responses to everything, there wasn't really much else Calli could do.

This isn't an attempt at a rrat btw, I think it was a comment based on how much hard work it all is to make it happen every week. The stuff about different players rotating in and out was something said during the first stream, which makes me think it's as likely to happen as all the stuff they had/have planned for the EN minecraft server. It's fun to plan stuff, but prepping it not so much.

I don't believe it was related to TTRPG, but more based on her schedule where she's been in 2-3 collabs a week since the TTRPG started, so that might dwindle down a bit. Regardless, she is having a lot of fun with the WoD campaign so far, and reiterated how happy she is to hear positive feedback for her recent efforts regarding prep and collab energy, which she wants to maintain, which may result in less, but more focused streams.
