Was this whole thing started because of a mod acting retarded on discord? I can't confirm, since I'm not there, but if that was the case, there was no need to do any of that. The discord is only a small fraction of Neuro's fanbase, there are tens of thousands of people that are interested in Neuro content, even if only a few thousand are there for the streams.
If it was Vedal trying to improve chat/the stream: once he talked about making Neuro read only the messages that have some text, instead of just emojis, he could have done that instead. It would have been like an organic measure, instead of dropping the hammer on people like it's happening now.
