All that is highly dependent on the type of cruise you go on. If you go on megaships, you don't feel a thing unless you are specifically on the top decks near the front and back. Also the rooms can comfortably fit 4 people with full size beds, but it's usually 2 sharing a pull out sofa. Smaller ships generally feel more movement and the rooms are puny with bunks and a single curtain separating the shower from the rest of the room.
