The recipe for success right now in Hololive is pretty clear, you have to find someone who you have chemistry with and just do stuff with them to create clippable/memorable moments. We've seen it time and time again, PekoMiko, PekoMoona, TakaMori, AmeSame, Bakatare, MiComet, KanaCoco, NoeFure... etc. The whole minecraft kensetsu wars saga in Minecraft helped boost so many girl's in both subs and viewership.
Instead, Matsuri decides to play Apex almost every day with people outside of Hololive, which isn't a very clippable game to begin with.
