If you've played C&C Renegade then you'll feel right at home with Renegade X. It's pretty easy to get into as a new player, if anyone else is curious.

It's just C&C but as a shooter, so you destroy the enemy base while defending your own. Buy yourself a strong infantry character or a vehicle and control the map to let your harvester earn you more credits to buy things while destroying the enemy harvester to prevent them from buying things. Once you have enough tanks on their doorstep, you can rush in to destroy a building before you're overwhelmed. Depending on the map, you can also sneak infantry into the base to blow up a building from the inside by planting C4 on the computer inside.
If a building is destroyed, it's gone for good. Depending on the building, you will either lose access to strong infantry, tanks, base defenses, more expensive purchases, or losing your harvester and getting only a drip feed of credits.
If all of this sounds confusing, just pick Engineer or Hotwire/Technician at the purchase terminal and follow your tanks around to keep them in the fight. They WILL suck your dick.

I only started following Koopa a few days before whatever happened. Part of the attraction was that these threads appeared to be a nice place to follow along with a strong community of fan art and edits to keep it going, especially since I'm not the type to sit down and watch every stream. I'm ashamed to admit that with the tone of these threads changing and without already having a strong investment into the vtuber beforehand, its seems to be actually affecting my ability to enjoy her as much as I want to.
I know I shouldn't let something as silly as threads ruin my entertainment, but that's just the way I am. There are threads about things that I enjoy that I can't look at anymore because I know it'll start changing the way I feel about it. However, for me the threads and streams are one in the same. What appeals to me is that she's from here and seems to participate in these as well. I just can't stop separating the two.
