Personally I think the song selection + MV will make this song successful. The song is in vogue and the MV is 10/10 masterpiece.
The vocals can be an acquired but if we're talking about >numbers I think the song will do well because of that.

Bokura no Ashiato had issues like the title being in japanese, the MV being very basic, the song not being that popular anymore.
