The problem is that talents like Pomu, Selen and Rosemi are like monkeys swinging on a rotting vine, one that's going to fall and bring them down with them. Dumb explanation aside, Nijisanji is the only thing that provides them any financial stability along with allowing them to do as much vacations/travels as they want. Plus there's probably large gaps in their resume that may look awkward to potential non-vtubing employers outside of the explanation of freelance work.
If they were finally fed up with the branch's bullshit, where do they go from here? They're friends with Kiara or Mumei but that's not really a guarantee that they'll make it into EN4, and who knows if Anycolor will enforce any arbitrary "Non competitive clauses" that Cover will honor. It's a scary situation to be in and not an enviable one whatsoever.

Pomu and Rosemi both have punished heroine syndrome.

They believe rather rightfully they are the heroines and of Nijisanji EN. All the hardships and bad things that happen in Nijisanji only act to reinforce this belief within them.

Pomu gets away with a lot of shit because she has Punished energy. She has been through shit and she talks about it a lot. She also always had an unhinged air to her character so when she says yab stuff it gets hand waived because well Pomu is fucking nuts. To the level that the Clique is deathly afraid of her and have said so many times. Finally everyone knows Nijisanji is Pomu's sloppy seconds and she is only there because she didn't get into Hololive which makes Holofans more sympathetic to her plight.

Rosemi is Rosemi. Her little sister energy is so strong the Clique shields her from a lot of the bullshit. She also just gets along with everyone and is a little ray of sunshine. Her only real yab is what she did with Tsunderia but let's be honest that was a worse dumpster fire then Nijisanji in hindsight.

Both would be 100% fine if they left Nijisanji and would get picked up quick or just go back to indie life.

Another thing is Pomu and Rosemi would gladly get absorbed into the JP branch so they will just continue trucking along while the rest of the branch burns after seeing how much things improved for KR after getting absorbed.

This is my insane rambling for the day. The main point is talent can shine through the shit and acting professional in a branch of unprofessionalisim really matters. An inspiration.

That's basically the crux of the situation. /vt/ is most certainly a minority in the grand scheme of things in terms wanting talents like Pomu/Rosemi/Selen to leave Nijisanji, since the company is having its worst year yet and the interest in the company really is going back to its early Luxiem days. But it still provides them plenty of money, 2% merch cuts aside, and the idea of going indie and starting from scratch would genuinely be too scary for anyone unless they're set for life. And even then who knows if any unexpected emergencies come up.

In contrast, the idea of just doing 5/6 streams for a few hours and making tons of money really isn't that bad compared to full timing it at a shitty job, even if half of her coworkers are really ruining everything she spent building up.
