I think the idea is they want to get a feel for the real numbers and to have subs be given by people who genuinely want to watch and not be a dead sub. Could possibly be an algorithm technique? A more dedicated sub that isn't inundated with streams of various girls may also be more willing to open their wallets for a single girl instead of wavering around only thinking of who to do it to, so its a psychological technique too. Crazy people who multistream are the minority, most do not want four different voices in their head at the same time.

I want Kiara to have competition in the timeslot just to shut you faggots up. They're on their first week and are also good at appealing to the JP audience because they like to speak Japanese frequently in their streams. The JOP only have one real option out of the new girls to pick from to try and join in on the hype.
The faggiest thing about you is that even if someone like FuwaMoco chose that timeslot and their numbers leveled out in a month or two to be pretty close to Kiaras, you'd still say "OH IT'S BECAUSE (x bullshit reason about their personality)". Own up, no one wants to watch in the EU timeslot so no one streams during it.

Hololive strong point was always a big community with a lot of mini communities with their own different people, but in the end all united by the same company and by the same "big hololive dream". Most people can't keep up with all the girls, it's literally impossible, that's why if a fan invest in 1 or 2 3 4 talents, then the business is running. I don't mean it as an attack nijisisters, but the COLLAB COLLAB solo cont.... COLLAB AGAIN 6 PEOPLE OUT OF NOWHERE, It's a good strat to keep people interested and the group content is always something fun, but it leads to many of the talents ending up almost like 3views if they don't have 5 people next to them and if they don't belong to a clique, unless you REALLY REALLY stand out. Who do you invest in that situation? Of course to the one that makes you laugh more when they are in the group, while the others eat shit. Even Sana was living the life of her dreams (economically) because she had a lot of people invested in her and that's why the collab ban is one of the best ideas in hololive. Have you considered that like 4-5pm pdt is actually too early for a lot of people who work? Fine for students sure but not everyone. However, those hours are more like 7-8pm eastern, where a lot of people have finished work and gotten back home from their commutes.

Pacific time is actually only partially for Pacific, but is because it is the sweet spot that also starts to be very-accessible for central and unless you are Amish or something and 8pm is too late, it's actually best for Eastern. Which would make sense as the Eastern seaboard has the majority of the US population.

The Pacific slot IS the Eastern too dumbasses. Thing is yes, putting like 7 overlapping streams all in one go sucks. It would have all sucked just as much if they all started at noon Pacific, 5pm or 10pm.

I think, holoEN is not used to this much overlap happening because it is big-enough in count of streams for this to actually be pretty easy to bump into now. Maybe they can sort things out, but you have to look at holoJP with like 35 girls and often there is a ton of overlap daily. That is the future we are starting to already be in, you cannot keep up with all of it.

>The mega overlap will make the new viewers oshi them
I don't understand this point.
Why do you think that more overlap will make more viewers likely to oshi someone?
For me it just means one strike and you're out. I didn't immediately click with Nerissa on her first stream, so on the next day I didn't even bother switching to her when both Gura and Bijou were on in parallel. And I'm sure there are plenty of people who didn't even bother checking out one of the new girls actually streaming a game, because she was overlapping their oshi.

>Mega expansion
I'm pretty sure the Advent girls have lower CCV on their post-debut streams than Council did, with the exception of Sana.
Of course, what matters is long-term viewership, but I really don't think more overlap is particularly helpful in that regard either.
