I've already given Lui her whip, but you're right about Koyori and Laplus. I'm still struggling to think of a good weapon for Koyo though. She can't exactly have a futuristic beam cannon since this is set in a post-medieval fantasy setting, which leaves her as an alchemist tossing potions at you... which doesn't work very well. Maybe I can give her a semi-modern crossbow that uses those magazines (I think those exist), or a classic pistol that (somehow) can shoot multiple times.

If you're doing a gun with bullet cartridges, I have some pretty shortform data on bullet primers I've used in my own (definitely writing related) research.
A primer is the little button that sparks the powder in the bullet, in case you didn't know. It's also the main barrier to using bullet cartridges instead of just flintlocks/blackpowder, since bullets obviously need manufacturing behind them to be worthwhile to sell.

Forgot to mention, anyone can reload spent bullet casings with a reloading bench and some (frankly, they could do it with less). Bullets can be easily smelted, and powder is non-specific if you'reina pinch and don't mind corrosion. Loading rounds with powder isn't the filter, but all reloaded bullets need a fresh primer, because the primer is expended when the bullet fires and cannot be reused.
Thus, if you had lab skills want to to capture the market on bullets, you would go for the essential part everyone needs but nobody knows how to make.
Not even people trying to reverse engineer could work it out easily unless they had modern day equipment.

I know that making the actual gun won't be the hard part for Koyo, but rather the ammunition. Aside from the primer, she'll need the slug, brass casing and powder, which would be pretty hard to gather the materials for even with the required knowledge (but as you said, easier to make). I have a scene in mind where Koyori will be complaining to Anon that ammunition is hard to make and she had to waste it all in order to defeat him.

NTA but it would. It’s why ammunition boxes that get blown up will sometimes have bullets shooting out from within. There won’t be any barrel let alone rifling so the bullet would probably get hit by the sword and go flying in a random direction, especially if it isn’t held in place, but it’s not like the explosion would magically make the piece of metal disappear. It would be a lot easier to do if the bullet was being held in place as opposed to falling through the air, for the sake of both accuracy and force.
As that other Anon said it is plausible in theory. It would just take the equivalent luck of winning three lotteries in a row to actually ignite it, then another ten for it to hit its target. But if it was fucking Dante doing it, there’d be no issue.

Speaking of chuuni fights and the strongest chuubas as we were before, I'm not usually autistic when it comes to power levels but I'd like to list out the Hololive members and how strong they would be in a fight. There's some obvious ones like Kronii, unbound Laplus and Ina acting as the Ancient Ones' vessel being near the top, but it gets confusing when we try to consider semi-canon lore that comes from streams, and other stuff.
