If Cover gets more serious about expanding in the US (and other western countries), the EN branch could utterly mog the JP branch in all of those metrics. Gura, one of the newest additions to the company, completely mogs like 95% of the company is views. Kiara and Calli mogs like 95% of the company in superchat earnings.

If the HoloEN2 performs strongly and reaches out to even more groups of English speakers, then the majority of the JP branch will be even more irrelevant.

JP gets all the merch, partnerships, crossovers, collabs, radio shows, and concerts. YT numbers and super chats are only a part of Hololive's business model, and JP is dominating in everything else.

It's the same reason why Gura surpassing Kizuna Ai in YT subs won't make her the most successful vtuber ever. Ai is practically a celebrity over there and she does all sorts of shit while right now every EN is just a successful streamer still only known in this niche of the internet.
