In my opinion, wave 3 wasn’t bad. They just need to cut out Enna and Millie. Wave 4-8 was a mistake. They should have continued with mainly females and mythological themes only. Mainly yokai/folklore themes and more fairly tale characters.

Obsydia was an excellent accompaniment.
Ethyria has massive weak points in Enna being herself and Reimu not matching her model. Millie is a sweetie and nina fit into her fox hag role pretty well.
Perhaps in a different timeline lazulight and obsydia are four man waves, with pomu elira finana rosemi, selen millie nina petra.
