The problem with vtuber music is, who is it even for? like let's take a look at normalfag music:
1 - It's a black guy rapping about drugs and women
2 - It's a white guy/ indie band singing about drugs and women but in a subtle way
Vtuber is effectively pop music but then again it lacks the crowd that is mostly loyal to pop music : gays and women
And vtuber music rarely talks about drugs, women and parties which is part of the lives of gays and women but even if it talked about that they would never listen to vtuber music because vtubers are sexualization, misogyny, pedo*philia blahblah and whatever academic buzzwords they can come up to justify themselves.
And then of course you have the male vtubers fans themselves who also won't listen to it because they pop music and hate anything that makes them look "gay" and "cringe" so they only listen to some black metal song about killing black people or whatever.
Then in the end no one listens to it.
