I would say, lots of practice. It's a mix of muscle memory and analyzing works from good artists, plus watching tutorials on youtube. My personal tips include not pressing too hard on your canvas, but letting the tip of your medium glide along the surface, and using your elbow as the pivot and not your wrist. Broad strokes look more confident when you're doing large, uninterrupted motions. Learn the toggles for turning your canvas around (it's probably numpad4 + 6, 5 to restore) and mirror your canvas so you can draw your lines comfortably.

Reasonable take, but I think you may be underestimating how hard it is to draw a sketch like that, SunsetSkyline makes a good amount from his Patreon for a reason. Even his roughs are like waaay beyond the skill level of like 95% of the people posting here. I'd also say that sketches always look better, but going through refinement, LA, color, and shade tends to reveal all sorts of problems which is both frustrating and at least for me a mainstay of improvement.

That said, I was considering doing some quickies for fun, got any request you'd want in a similar, style?

Key word here is "becomes". I'm guessing each (experienced) artist does eventually settle into their own style, but the process of figuring out what that style is and then making it their own is what takes a lot of time. Similarly to other skills, like martial arts, where you may be trained by a teacher of a certain school but you then may modify those teachings with your own experience and make your own style, artists will learn the basics and fundamentals, maybe while emulating another artist whose art they like, but then through experience drawing different things, themes they haven't encountered before, they introduce their own flair into their drawings and develop their own style.
This is an outsider's perspective, though, and I may be looking too deep into this.
