The night of the BaeRyS vallentines offcollab, /HiRyS/ had a huge meltdown, it's highly theorized that IRyS reads her split and the opinions of the schizos there and they don't like EN collabs and much rather prefer SoloRyS or collabs with JP members like Flare
Overtime, IRyS started listening to them and started decreasing her collab frequency within EN and it's highly theorized that the BaeRyS valentines offcollab karaoke was canceled because she saw the outrage in her split that night.
Here's Bae's members post she posted 10 hours prior to the valentines stream following it's cancellation. She had to improvise and come up with a solo stream idea on the spot for the big day because her plans fell through at the last second by something that was outside of her control. As you can see she is very stressed because all of her preparation was for naught. It was also following this point that IRyS and Bae started growing distant and didn't interact much for a long time until recently when Bae decided to drag her into the GOI tournament larp

TLDR: IRyS is just listening to her fans in the split and giving them what they want, more SoloRyS and less collabs/shipping

That is because the joke was that it was that Mori was tsundere for Kiara, as a joke on the death and immortal pairing as you mentioned. It failed for several reasons, but I blame the fans not understanding that is was meant as an anime tsundere thing and taking it at face value for half of it. Neither Kiara nor Mori were particularly great at the act but it should’ve been obvious what they were going for. However fans took it at face value and some got mad at Kiara for “bothering” Mori and others got mad at Mori for being “mean” to Kiara. The backlash made Mori start to check out of it which made Kiara, tryhard that she is, push even harder to bruteforce the corporate pairing, which made dumb fans even more upset and Mori even more disinterested in a horrible vicious cycle.

I suppose so. The entire drama over everything was dumb. Mori wasn’t even bad in the way people were mad at her over in Takamori, but in an entirely different and potentially worse way. Kiara wasn’t perfect either but that is mostly down to her bad habit of reacting to something not working by trying to push it twice as hard, which was especially prevalent in her rocky starting months.
It wasn’t even that “breakup” that made Mori realize how shitty she can be, she continued to get worse for a good while as she fell into alcoholism and angst over just being Mori and not something more.

Crazy how Takamori is probably the strongest it's ever been when the two are basically split since Mori is now free to go hard as a homie to Kiara which ends up the making the two closer than they ever were as an "official" thing. Also nice is that era of Iya x3 to the Maldives trip was basically a renaissance for fans who wanted non-Takamori pairings.
