To whoever posted the trick of biting pencil while doing vocal reps, that was a fucking godsent. I did those for a day or two and instantly heard improvement on my voice. I sound less nasal now and it also helped my singing too.
Just a slight issue now that my voice sounds completely different than the way I speak in my native tongue, it feels pretty alien speaking this way

Accessibility and I do more than just games. I hate that Twitch doesn't archive indefinitely, reflection is important to me. It's really convenient to have people on the street be able to look you up on their phone because everyone has YouTube. Casually mentioning that you have a Twitch doesn't even sell amongst gamers anymore. Oversaturation in that regard, we've all been spammed some low-effort copy paste GoFuckMe or Twitch link one too many. I want to rebuild my identity through creative expression beyond gaming personality.

Simulcast is the only real answer though.

the "past broadcasts" have an expiry time, but the highlight system can work to save your entire vod as one and then you basically just use clips for the actual highlights or make them on youtube. Nobody is going to sit through like a 5 minute clip on twitch anyways so that "feature" is kinda pointless for it's intended purpose. As long as you remember to save your vod as highlight before it gets deleted you can keep an archive on twitch.

I'll paraphrase some advice I saw from a corpo.
First, show off something impactful in the first 30-40 seconds. Grab their attention early.
From there, go with about a minute of introduction. Maybe RP a bit of what kind of persona you'd present while streaming.
From there, go for about two and a half minutes of talking about what skills, talents and proficiencies you have. Talk about how long you've been doing them and try to show samples of anything you're talking about.
That all leaves you with the last minute. Jam whatever clips of yourself you want to in there, just make ABSOLUTELY SURE that you've already laid out everything you wanted to talk about before you hit this point in the video.
After you get everything recorded, look it over a few times, maybe have a trusted friend look at it. Oh, and speak properly. Don't mumble, and avoid your usual "ums" and "likes" and other filler words.

Make adjustments as you deem necessary, of course; it's YOUR video that you're working on.

Put a pencil perpendicular to the center of your mouth and hold it with your teeth. It forced me to open up my mouth and speak more from my throat instead of purely relying on chest / nasal (too low / too thin).

- playing long / unsuited videogames

Jokes aside, is there like, a specific country or such you'd wanna go into direction wise? What I usually do for naming characters is just checking out the specific words in their language that I want thematically and just try and use that mainly. If you have to, change it slightly so it sounds more like a name. Sure, it's weird if the language speaker becomes a viewer and sees it, but how high are the chances for that to happen? So long as it sounds authentic.
