No idea, I've heard of 1 or 2 places having them several years ago but I doubt they're still around. And console gundam is fine, they're just hilariously outdated, the original arcade version of the current console version for example is from 2016. Fundamentals are still the same though so it'll help carry you into future series, and atleast it has LAN mode you can setup for a pseudo arcade experience so that's pretty nice.

Arcade cabinets are a TV and an arcade stick in one, placed in the perfect position for maximum comfort for your hands to place on and just the right eye level for you to focus on the action (disclaimer: player experience may vary). Anyone who wasn't a retard knew that the playerbase would shrink significantly within a few weeks, just like almost any other fighting game. This is most niche genre ever after all. And the fact SF6 found some success with a "How do you do fellow kids?" ghetto zoomer strategy of using bad rappers and "influencers" to sell the game in a marketing blitz means that you can expect other desperate attempts at pandering like this in the future, so it is super grim for the FGC right now on top of the heavy censorship where you say the wrong thing and you are banned from all tournaments forever. You can still groom teens in the homo Smash scene though.

I doubt Capcom would ever invest anything in vtubers, but sponsoring tournaments is a start. Stuff like Vsai, CR cup and how much the Japanese fps esports scene is integrating itself with vtubers helps sustain the popularity of games like Apex and Valorant within the scene, but there's literally nothing like happening with chuubas in a large scale but there was that JP tournament that happened last week that brought a bunch of high level JP players teaming up with less skilled players and at least one of them was a twitch chuuba, so that's a start.

That's partially because of how niche Fighting games are so they have less money and less devs to make quick patches/updates/new content and partially because fighting games are so hyper focused on balance that adding a new character takes far more time than a MOBA or Shooter. Everyone sends their avatars but it is a group fight
Everyone gets paired more or less with someone of their level, each board sending a number of representatives, and the side who wins the most matches wins the whole thing.
5v5, 3v3, etc depending on how many people they send. If one side has less representatives they must fight all the challengers of the other one , but can only lose once. The more you send the better.
The rules for entering will be as follow
1) Avatar names and profiles hidden, we are as anon as we can be: there are options for the game itself.
2) You must go dressed as one of the memes of this general.
For you could go as a Newsposting Korone if you are from /doog/ or /vtr/ ,a Brazilian Ayame from /hlgg/ , an Argie lunaito from /luna/ , a figgerman from /lig/, or even Shimada or Coyo costumes for /Tekken Tuesdays/, /lig/ or /wvt/.This also will serve as practice for divegrass.
