60k based of last thread's consensus.

Coco got 45k for her last birthday, and her live audience number has been stagnant since then. She gained as many viewers as she lost them. Therefore, 45k is a good baseline. Not sure about upper limit, 80k maybe?

She had collabs with Calli and Amelia on their channels and a Member's stream before her break iirc.

She usually only does 5 streams per week. That's all the streams for the past week accounted for.

If anything, the fact that she's 8th in Over-all Views despite only streaming 5 days a week and with no short videos/MVs to boost that number says a lot.

Just because you're famous/popular doesn't mean that you are otherwise an authentic person or even original in your ability to create content. Following that same logic, just because you spend thousands of dollars on a VTuber model doesn't mean that you are not a trend hopper. The real question is: when did he commission and start using said VTuber model?

If this happened:
>within the last six months, then he is a trend-hopper for sure.>more then six months ago, but less than a year ago, then he is a clout-chaser, thus a trend-hopper.
>more than a year ago, but still during the Hololive/VTuber boom within 2020, then he is an early adopter trend hopper.
>before 2020, then he has plausible deniability given that's a western steamer who just got familiar with VTubing while it was an obscure phenomenon.

Why would average matter more when Gura doesn't stream that much in the first place? What's wrong with giving credit to the one who has the most total?

As an example, it's like having Resto A and Resto B
Resto A has 1 branch with 1000 sales. Resto B has 3 branches with 800 sales each but 2400 in total.
In the end, resto B would still have more sales over resto A.

The higher average would still result in less total VOD views if she doesn't stream much in the end. Somebody else put in more effort with more streams so they would have higher total.

>currency meme
Anon, assuming that her audience is even only 50% USA based, that's still around 9,000 US members. In case you're wondering, Rushia, Ina and Ame are neck and neck with each other at around 9,000 members all counted. Again going by that list, Rushia needs to double her user-base to even come close to Gura's total membership.

I will assume, that the vast majority of members belongs to the anglospehere, because of course it makes sense to assume such. So 2/3 (66%, or around 12,000 from about 18,300) will likely be Americans, Canadians a Yuroops that speak English. Most of those currencies are within earshot of the dollar value.
12,000 x 5 = $60,000
12,000 x 10 = $120,000
Accounting for error, Gura's revenue baseline at the absolute lowest is between $50,000 and $100,000 every month off of memberships alone. This is only 2/3 of her baseline indicated on >>5186071

Rushia's membership is only $5. She also has a baseline less than 50% of Gura's (around 9000).
9,000 x 5 = $45000
Assuming that 100% of Rushia's members are first worlders and accounting for error, Rushia's absolute baseline is somewhere around $40,000

I don't know about you but $50,000 is at least 15% greater than $40,000, and that gap increases significantly the higher you go on the Gura scale. This adds up ridiculously and stretched out to a year ($600,000 ~ $1,200,000 vs $480,000), even if we remove 1/3 off of Gura's measured subs. In reality Gura is likely making somewhere between $1,250,000 and $2,500,000 in membership revenue.

It's to do with how Twitch and YouTube handle streaming and trending around them. Twitch also has the raid feature, which has greater impact in views at the higher end than it does at the lower end of the viewership spectrum.

>I wanna compare their growth pattern once NijiEn hits 3 months so we can determine if they follow the same behavior or if NijiEn has a slower/steeper decline rate.

Gura was an anomaly amongst anomalies. Her honeymoon period just would not end. Gura's ridiculous growth also helped HoloEN as a whole for months on end.

Meanwhile, NijiEN has already massively slowed down and Pomu still hasn't hit 100k.

>> No.5206944

In that case would it be better to remove Kiara and Gura (the lowest and highest) to get a better comparison? Again, my main goal isn't to analyze the raw numbers but the pattern of how much they decline relative to the previous month.

The problem is that Gura biased the entire group already. It's not just HoloMyth either, but all of Hololive since HoloEN got announced.

Okay, I think I understand where your coming from now. If Gura has in fact brought in a ton of new viewers to Hololive as we suspect she has then I can see why that'll skew the data even if we remove her from the equation. Is there anyway we can better predict NijiEn's possible growth pattern though?

NijiEN came late enough to not have been affected by the VTuber boom of 2020. Right now, this could be a good marker for how the market will react to VTubers in the future. On the other hand, we might have to compare their growth against maybe HoloEN2 to see if there is a pattern between them.

Well when someone finds and subscribes to Gura, many will end up finding and subscribing to her friends. It’s a network. If Hololive EN was just Kiara for example, she would probably be at 150k subs right now, if even. Without all the other Holo ENs to network with, she couldn’t succeed. So one very successful Holo EN raises the entire group. So who is driving the growth? Two of the bigger ones are Gura (obviously) and Mori. Even if people don’t like Mori, she pulls in new viewers. Her music uploads likely help too. It’s just a reality.

Niji EN is not a marker for the performance of Holo EN Gen 2.

>> No.5208187

Gura being in Holo EN Gen 1, actually helps Holo EN Gen 2. It’s a network. Gura can even collab with them. And if Gen 2 gets their own Gura (another big name), then the shows over.

The reason Niji EN is not a marker for Holo EN Gen 2, is because it’s a network. Meaning that Gen 2 with be streaming with Gen 1. They are not starting from the ground up. Also Hololive captured a bigger part of the Western market.

An event so big I remember watching it live even though it had nothing to do with my interests at all. Red Bull's marketing team were so good at their job back then. It's crazy that this was almost 9 years ago. A full decade without something as hype as Red Bull Stratos. What do we have to do, livestream the next moon landing?

As far as individual streamers go I think it's still TheGrefg's Fortnite skin reveal with 2.4 million on Twitch.
