Gura does nothing, adds nothing, and is nothing. Good streams aren’t as important as enhancing the overall fanbase, and being popular doesn’t mean shit if most of the fans aren’t interested in anybody else in the box. A good Hololive member has to have good streams *and* plenty of good non-stream content to sustain both the inner core of people who watch streams as well as the tourists who don’t.
Gura is worthless in that regard and is only good as a mascot. I don’t really judge her for that because whatever, she ought to prioritize herself and I don’t blame her. It’s her fans who insist she’s the best thing in the world and the greatest vtuber ever that I’m directing all this vitriol towards.
A good Hololive talent indirectly enhances the experience for the people who don’t have her as their oshi. Gura doesn’t do that, and chumbuds don’t realize that their opinions literally do not matter when considering if Gura’s a good vtuber or not.
