The pic doesn't confirm they tryhard nor does it confirm they don't tryhard but we do know that some pros don't play to their best in scrims. There is tryhard in Battle Royale, you can see some teams just playing like donkeys or more wild in scrims but come tourney, they play alot safer.

3030 + Shatter is viable and progamers can make it look busted but keyword is "progamer". Even if you're a weak player, tournament situation shouldn't be the time to mess with such weapons even as a meme.
Sidenote, as a Fuse and Scout/3030 practitioner, it is annoying turning shattercaps on and off per situation though it is neat as a way to entice casuals to use 3030.

The advantage of shattercaps is you essentially get three weapons instead of two.

Normal 3030 for poking at a distance, then you get closer and fry with an smg and finish them off with the shattercaps mode.

There are some spots in the map that are really hard to get to but are extremely strong positions. To balance it out, you have a 30-second timer which counts down when you're on those spots. When it reaches zero, you just die. The timer never resets, so you can't just hop in and out of the 30-sec zones.
In some tournaments, especially pro tournaments, shooting from 30-sec zones is not allowed. I think Shibuhal made the rule explicit this time because of what happened with Amatsuki.
