The difference is that those other things aren’t things that you do for hours at a time every day. If you have to commit that much time to watch vtubers, of course most people aren’t going to waste their time on obscure nobodies. If they do, they’re going to give them a quick look at best because again, nobody has time for that. And even if they do, they’re not likely to divert time from the 2view they just found to check out other small channels.
Of course, I’m a tourist, so between clips I do have time to occasionally try out streams from smaller vtubers. But admitting you mostly watch clips because you have more important things to do than committing to watching streams immediately discredits you /here/.
