If you want the reason though it’s based on the channels floor and ceiling. Clicks, watch time, retention and to a lesser extent likes comments and shares (these 3 add to the first 3 but idk by how much). These things give your channel a floor and ceiling. If you clear the ceiling you get pushed and if you clear it multiple times you ride the algo. If you fail to clear the floor you get pushed less and less until you get a new floor or your channel dies.
