After Fauna's speech, I've completely turned into a normalfag vtuber viewer. I still like and watch her because she is cute and funny. But many things have changed. Here are some changes for me.
>no notifications
>no twitter likes for every tweet, retweeted arts
>no chat
>no comments
>no snails, superchats
>no voicepacks or merchs (unless it's really good and useful)
>no sacrificing sleep to watch her live
>stop ignoring people when she is streaming
>no asmr (i had no interest in asmr, i was listening for intimacy with her)
>skip streams if you don't like the game or content
>stop thinking about her in your daily life
>stop hating collabs
>don't miss her anymore (which is very good for upcoming vacation)
The first 3 days were horrible for me. But now I think it's much healthier than before. Thanks to her for waking me up from a meaningless dream.

Personally, I think the next step is to stop watching movies, reading books, listening to music, etc. If you need to be friends with someone in order to support them then this is just what makes sense to me.

Sad thing is, the worst part about her speech was the initial phrasing of it. "We cannot be friends, we should not be friends" sounds so fucking negative compared to what she meant, considering what she went on to say afterwards. Compared to Ame's and Kronii's meltdowns which felt completely antagonistic from the beginning, Fauna's really only got torched by a badly worded start. It sounded like setting boundaries and distance, the narrative that all the homobeggars have been pushing, when it was just "we, as streamers, are not that big of a deal for personal connection. We're no different friendship-wise than something you could find near you, with friends your already have and could make." Sad to see it happen to you anon, but can't really blame you. Most depressing part is this originating from a supa bait.

I'm not OP, but I watch streams because it's fun to participate and get responses and have some kind of camaraderie with the streamer and sometimes chat, so something like what Fauna did is a real kick in the nuts.
