If the payment is so bad then why no one in NijiEN is retiring or leaving the corp on their own terms (Resignation or calling it quits).

Think about it. Why would you want to be keep working at a company that pays you badly that a Mcdonalds job is likely to make you earn more.

they earn money from other stuff too.

Taken on its face by itself, 2% is an abysmally poor cut for low quality merch with minimal overhead that only has value because of the person getting the 1~3% cut.
Nobody is spending $15 on an acrylic keychain of a random latinaesque schoolgirl with anime tiddies. People are spending that money on a keychain of Scarle Yonagumi because they are fans of the vtuber, streamer, and character Scarle Yonagumi. The keychain is worthless trash without her as a person being tied to it, and a 1~3% cut is an insult to that amount of investment as a person.
Yes, they get paid via donations and sponsorships, but that is that and this is this. Unless Nijisanji wants to start announcing their cuts publicly, people are gonna be mad about their oshi making $0.15 per unit, before taxes, on a product that will never ship over 1000 units (as a highly generous estimate to the point of delusion).

The fact that the info has been available for nearly 3 years and the company hasn't changed at all throughout those 3 years despite very obviously having the money to change things up, either way you slice it its not a good look anon.
They could very easily upgrade it to at least double-digit tier like 10%. People assumed that the talents didn't make much on merch based on ranking, but I don't think anyone expected that it'd be a comically low figure like 2%. And the only reason people even buy their shitty merch is because they hope that it supports the talents, instead it all goes to the company and the talents get basically nothing even if they're in Luxiem.

Green is the income from special events, like NijiFes or concerts/appearances (some bonus money for appearing)
Oranges is the money from merch (they get 2%)
Red is the superchat/voicepack money (they get 35% of superchat, 50% of voicepack).

So the biggest slice of the pie, the merch, they get practically nothing. Most of what they are making is from the red slice, which is much smaller.

This is millions of yen, so they made Anycolor an average of 1.5 billion yen over the past 2 quarters. If that continues, it will be about $45 million annually. That is $1.5 million for every liver.
