wait so you're telling me Nijisanji/anykara earns more gazillions dollars money than Hololive, but not single penny of it went to their livers? And nijibros somehow proud of this?

If it's so bad there why do people choose to stay at Niji? Surely the paychecks at these companies can't be that bad.
VShojo on the other hand proved they were lowballing the talents and thus many of them left as soon as their contracts were up.

If so, then they MUST feel like they're getting paid well enough that it beats the alternative of taking your chances as an indie. That just reinforces my argument.

>The people
That's about it, if you meet really cool people you can bond with you are sure to stay longer because you know if you leave your interactions will lesses until they are mostly gone. I stayed at my old job for 4 years because the people working there were really fucking welcoming and we would go out, time flies and I spent that many years with them until the company went broke because our manager was a greedy asshole.
There are many speculations as why they don't leave, including yours.

Sure but there's a significant number of them that believe it's worth staying there. Those that did leave decided that despite a good salary they'd be better off elsewhere for other non-salary based factors and benefits.

>>49032190
Fair enough but even then I'd argue that's a trade off that has non-monetary value. At that point, you're choosing the convenience of a job or the people, as you say, as part of the entirety of the package. Not many companies can offer that and not everyone values that sort of thng but even if you did value those things it would be difficult to believe you would stay despite receiving a pittance.

All this is speculation and rumors about them being lowballed since there is no concrete information anyways. All I'm arguing is that if they did have shit contracts that they would leave in the same way Vshojo lost a lot of their talents. It's posible they are lowballing them but whatever their pay cut is, it's gotta be better than going indie.

>> No.49046757

Here's the thing anon-chama, I would argue that just like Hololive, the fear of losing your model people grew acostume to is there in NIjisanji too and you've seen how the CCV of those who left their personas went in the EN corporate scene, not a pretty good look. Imagine Luxiem losing their iconic designs, they canq't just buy it nor commision something close to it without the risk of being sued.

Many streamers and youtubers have revealed that merchandise trumps all other income sources. DisguisedToast revealed that his very popular friends had merch drops in the millions.

It’s why every agency invents as many birthdays and celebrations as possible to sell merch along side. It trounces superchats and ad money, it’s not even close.

Knowing all this, 2% is fucking criminal. Even if they paid a salary and took no cut of members/ads it would still be crumbs.

>> No.49049666

>>49049241
That's what I've been saying for a long time but you have some numberfags claiming here that those superchats, that's where the real money is at. I'd also say the 2nd form of income they earn more from comes from membership since that is more consistent than ad revenue and superchats. Single digit percent on merch sales just sounds illegal. If not then very greedy on the companies side.

Talents know that going in though. It's what they sign up for. If they develop strong feelings for the model to the point that it becomes the deciding factor on whether or not they should stay and be enslaved (low salary, weak profits) then tough shit. Salary must not be important enough to them.
Regardless, it's in the interest of these companies to keep the talents happy and satisified monetarily. Leaving them out to dry or lowballing them and your risk losing that talent and tens of thousands of dollars creating the model plus unknown amounts more in potential revenue that talent could have brought in.
